Account and Data Deletion Request

1. Who this page is for

This page is for people using the VectONN mobile apps (PatrONN, VectONN Team, EdgePOS Adisyon) and the vectonn.com.tr account. You can request deletion of your account and personal data here.

2. First, an important point: your employer creates your account

In our mobile apps an account is not created by the user. The business you work for, or buy services from, defines a user for you on VectONN. This means there are two different situations:

• If you are an employee or user: you can ask us to delete your personal data. Closing the account itself is your employer's decision; when we receive your request we inform both you and the business.
• If you represent the business: you can request deletion of all the business data. Such a request is handled under the service agreement.

3. How to request

Send your request by e-mail to info@vectonn.com.tr, stating:

• Write "Data deletion request" in the subject line.
• Your full name.
• Which app you use (PatrONN, VectONN Team, EdgePOS Adisyon, or the web).
• The name of the business you work with and your customer number if you have one.
• The username or e-mail address you use in the app.

Sending from the e-mail address registered to your account speeds up identity verification. If you cannot, we will contact you to verify your identity, so that your data is never disclosed to anyone but you.

4. How long it takes

We conclude your request within 30 days at the latest and inform you in writing. Thirty days is the maximum period set by Turkish data protection law; in practice most requests are completed sooner.

5. What is deleted

Once your request is approved, the following are deleted:

• Your user account and profile details (name, job title, phone, e-mail, profile photo).
• Your device registration and notification address; our apps can no longer send notifications to your phone.
• Your app usage records.
• Your location consent and any stored location data.
• Access details of any mailbox you connected.

About end-to-end encrypted chat: message content is decrypted only on the devices and is never held in readable form on our server. When you remove the app from your phone, the chat history and encryption keys on that device are deleted too, and cannot be recovered.

6. What is kept, and why

Some records cannot be deleted even at your request. We state this plainly:

• Commercial and financial records (invoices, delivery notes, quotations, accounting entries) are kept as required by law. They form part of the business's commercial books and cannot be removed by a personal data request; retention periods are set by tax and commercial legislation.
• Security records (sign-in attempts, system logs) are kept for at most 2 years.
• Consent and opt-out records for commercial messages are kept for the period required by law; that record is the proof that no message was sent to you without permission.

In the records we keep, your personal data is made non-attributable as far as possible.

7. Business data is not personal data

The commercial data of a business using VectONN (its customers, stock, invoices) belongs to that business; for such data we act as a processor. An employee's personal data deletion request does not delete the business's commercial data. Deleting all data of a business is a separate request handled under the service agreement.
